Growing up, I would watch my mother apply her makeup every morning for work, and watch YouTube to find out about the newest makeup and skincare that has hit the market.

As a child, I faced challenges recognizing how beautiful I was. I was told by my peers that I was to dark and too big which destroyed my self confidence. I suffered from acne and scarring mainly due to the harsh chemicals in products I used to cover up my blemishes.
MunaLee Cosmetics was created and named after my grandmother who was the epitome of beauty. She would tell me, “You don’t need a lot of makeup to be beautiful. All you need is a little gloss, mascara, and groomed hair.” It took me awhile to listen but she was right. Less is more!
This line was not intended to create beauty, but yet to magnify, embrace, and enhance the beauty you already have. As I continue to build and grow the MunaLee brand, I want to aspire women who lack self confidence.
